I have been a student participant at Brown University School of Professional Studies since April 2024.
I am on track to be an Associate Certified Coach (ACC level) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at Brown University. I specifically aimed for an Ivy League Program to obtain accreditation that closely aligns with my integrity as a Top Coach.
It’s pretty awesome training among The Best in the executive coaching industry!
With hours of practice coaching sessions underway, it amazes me how many professionals and executives have a rough idea about Executive Leadership Coaching. And yet, so few have personally utilized professional coaching
to resolve ongoing work-life balance issues. A statement I hear quite often, “I’ve never spoken to anyone about this issue before.”
Business professionals regularly struggle with work-life balance issues that are not easily discussed with colleagues, managers, family, friends, or therapists. You will greatly benefit from coaching if you are negatively impacted by reactive thinking, pessimistic outcomes, getting in your way, frustrations with team members, and confusion about which decision to make.
I’ve coached clients who ruminate on work issues for years. It’s amazing to see how new perspectives take shape in a single session! The success stories always remind me of a great quote by Wayne Dyer, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Read more Influential Wayne Dyer quotes here to challenge you to be the best version of yourself.
The Tenet of Leadership and Performance Coaching
You are whole and resourceful.
Most of the answers to resolve your concerns are within you. A coach is helpful when you are feeling stuck or unable to gain clarity and confidence to resolve current issues that weigh you down.
Examples of Real Issues Resolved with Leadership Coaching
- I hired a team member who I thought would be a great fit, but they are underperforming. Firing is the easy option, but I need more clarity before I make that big step.
- I don’t know whether to stay in my current role or apply to another department. I’m weighing the pros and cons of staying vs. going.
- I want to role model open communication among my team members but it doesn’t align with our company culture. How do I accomplish this communication strategy without stepping on toes across the departments?
- I’m having a significant change in my family dynamics when the team is launching a huge campaign. I’m overwhelmed and seeking strategies to navigate this difficult time.
- I was offered a well-paying job but I declined because it did not fit with my visions and values. How can I shake the feeling that I passed up an important opportunity?
- What’s your big topic? What outcome do you want to achieve?

Speech Coaching Is Here to Stay
As one successful client proudly declared, “Communication rules the nation!”
How you talk to yourself internally and speak to others outwardly is the basis for all human interactions. My studies at Brown University are blending with my existing coaching methods. Professional development is further improving the speaking confidence coaching that I’ve provided over the past 18 years.
I regularly coach individuals and teams who are dedicated to learning how to lay the foundation for speaking confidence in all of your difficult conversations, informative speeches, and powerful presentations with extra sizzling efficiency!
